Cross-cultural Intergenerational Communication Online Workshop

Dear youths/parents,

You are invited to participate in the Cross-cultural Intergenerational Communication workshop. It is one of the OCCSC Youth Leadership Project sessions.

We are honoured to have Dr. Barbara Leigh Golden as our guest speaker. Our guest speaker Dr. Barbara Leigh Golden is a full-time Professor at Algonquin College and the Excellence in Teaching Award winner in 2022. The workshop will be conducted in English.

You are very welcome to share your opinion and experience in the discussions. Please feel free to ask questions concerning cross-cultural intergenerational communication if there are any.

Bio of speaker:

Dr. Golden is a full-time Professor at Algonquin College and teaches in the Bachelor of Early Learning and Community Development Degree program. This April, Dr. Golden won the Algonquin Students’ Association Faculty Recognition Awards – Excellence in Teaching Award for demonstrating excellence and innovation in teaching and her passion for supporting students’ success. Before she joined Algonquin College, Dr. Golden had about 20 years of management experience in the not-for-profit sector, government, and academia.
