Elderly Mind and Body Life Club - Calligraphy / Painting Class

The Elderly Mind and Body Life Club has prepared calligraphy and painting classes for the elderly from 11/29 to 2/28. The Ottawa Chinese Community Service Center invited Mr. He Lianhua to teach us. The details are as follows:

 

Calligraphy: Four lessons. Learn the official script. Official script is a dignified, steady and elegant script. Focus on learning the main strokes and structure of official script.

Painting: 8 lessons. Learn to paint plum blossoms and orchids from scratch. Mainly learn how to paint plum branches, flowers and orchid leaves.

Teacher profile: He Lianhua, President of the Canadian Chinese Art Association and Co-President of the Canadian Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art Association. He is passionate about seal script and Chinese painting. He is good at writing lyrical poems. He is keen on learning and spreading Chinese traditional culture.

 

Calligraphy class dates: 11/29, 12/6, 12/13, 1/3 (Friday)

Time: 10:30am – 11:30am

 

Painting class dates: 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/28 (Friday)

Time: 10:30am – 11:30am
