New Session of OCCSC Youth Leadership Program is Coming! 青少年领导力项目新一期即将开始！做义工、培养领导力二者兼得

The Youth Leadership Program (YLP), organized by OCCSC, is a free program designed for new immigrant youth aged 14 to 25. The goal is to create a platform that helps young immigrants integrate successfully into their new life in Canada.

Event Objectives:

• Develop leadership skills
• Plan for the future
• Enhance soft skills

Event Highlights:

• • 10 engaging activities covering diverse themes (online and offline)
  • Interactive workshops + group activities
  • Experienced guest speakers, including university professors, senior industry professionals, and trainers

Program Duration:

January 29, 2025 – April 5, 2025

Format:

• Online + Offline
• Held once a week on Wednesday or Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM (based on speaker availability)
• Language: English

Participants who complete attendance requirements will receive:

• A training certificate
• 40 volunteer hours
• A recommendation letter for work or school applications

OCCSC青少年领袖项目（ Youth Leadership Program )是渥太华华人社区服务中心针对14 至 25 岁的新移民青少年举办的免费项目，旨在打造一个帮助新移民青少年成功融入加拿大新生活的平台。

• 活动目的：培养青少年领导能力，规划未来，提高软实力
• 活动内容：包括线上及线下10个不同主题的丰富活动
• 互动讲座 + 小组活动
• 经验丰富的演讲嘉宾（大学教授、行业资深人士和培训师）
• 培训周期：2025 年 1 月 29 日 – 4月5日

• 活动形式：线上+线下
• 活动时间：每周一次，根据主讲人时间安排在周三或周四晚7:00 - 8:30
• 活动语言：英语

参与项目并达到出勤要求的学员将获得：

• 培训证书
• 40小时义工时数
• 工作/上学推荐信
