Auction Rules & Details

Bidding Process 

  • The Golf Tournament Silent Auction is a hybrid, online AND in-person auction. 
  • Bids can be placed before the auction using the website; however, the bidding will continue the day of the tournament, allowing online bidders to be out-bid. 
  • As usual, the bidder with the highest bid will win the item. 

 

Online Bidding Instructions and Rules 

  • Bids can be placed by clicking on an auction item listening and entering an amount.  
  • For a bid to be confirmed, the bidder must click on the link in the confirmation email sent after placing the bid. The bid will be discarded if the link in the conformation email is not activated. 
  • OCCSC reserves the right to remove bids deemed to be suspicious or illegitimate. 

 

Auction Ending 

  • The online silent auction will end on August 8th, 2026, the day of the OCCSC Golf Tournament. 
  • If the highest bid is below the reserve bid, bidders will be given an opportunity to purchase the item at the reserve price in order of highest to lowest bid price. 
  • If an item is won by an online bidder, the online bidder will be given 3 days to make payment before the item is offered to the next highest bidder. 
  • After payment has been made, online bidders must pick up the item at the OCCSC office.
